While I opted out of taking it to Philmont to help reduce overall pack weight, I wish I had brought it. But as I shift more towards ultralight king term hiking, this will only be used in the three night or less events.
OverLl the chair is sturdy and hold well for my 250 lbs 6’6” frame. Those that do not understand how to sit gently will add unnecessary wear and shorten the life of the frame. Also, on soft souls, the default legs will sink without something to distribute the point loads.

A light convenient chair and table for picnic or the beach. Sit low to the ground but that is the trade off for small size and weight.

I really like the chair. It is compact. Weight is reasonable for what you get. Unfortunately, on the trail I sat down and leaned back and one of the legs bent, sending me tumbling. It is rated for 275 lbs. I am 250. I am sorely disappointed that I am unable to use the chair now.
